Current Small Groups
The Monday Small Group
The Monday Small Group is embarking on an exciting new study of the Book of Judges. Join us Mondays at 7 PM online. Contact Jim Whitfield.
The Wednesday Small Group
Join us for our next study starting in May of Sara Miles's Take This Bread, a powerful memoir of an atheist's path to Jesus through being offered communion. This group meets at 7:30 PM online. Contact Judith Snider.
Tuesday Morning Men's Group
This group continues to meet every Tuesday morning by Zoom video conferencing. The meeting starts at 8 AM. Zoom is really great, and it is convenient to meet without even leaving home. We have a really good time and the meeting is very informal. This is a great opportunity for you to check us out, see your friends, make new ones, and see how interesting a Bible study can be. We invite you to join in for a meeting and test the water. Zoom is free so there is no cost. This group is led by David Dowell and is currently studying 1 and 2 Corinthians. Contact the church office to get connected.
Circle IV Ladies' Meeting
Drop in on the first Thursday of each month to discuss Eugenia Anne Gamble's Love Carved in Stone: A Fresh Look at the Ten Commandments. This group is led by Anna Belle Horgan or Joanne Myers. Contact the church office to get connected.
Theology on Tap
Theology on Tap is back in May with a study on the social contract. What do we owe each other as fellow members of the same society? Featuring John Locke, David Brooks, and more! Join us at 3 PM in the Fireside Room.
Brown Bag Bible Study
What was it like before Israel had kings in charge? God leads the people out of Egypt, they wander in the desert for forty years, then what? Explore some of the challenges the people of the Old Testament faced and whether human institutions and leadership were sufficient to solve their problems then or our problems today. Join us Mondays at noon in the Fireside Room beginning after Easter to dive into the book of Judges! Bring your Bible and your lunch and we’ll explore together. Contact the church office if you have any questions.
"I was, as the prophet said, hungering and thirsting for righteousness. I found it at the eternal and material core of Christianity: body, blood, bread, wine, poured out freely, shared by all. I discovered a religion rooted in the most ordinary yet subversive practice: a dinner table where everyone is welcome, where the despised and outcasts are honored."

Thursdays weekly in Fellowship Hall
We are a small group that meets every Thursday throughout the school year. We make quilts, lap robes, baby blankets and clothes, and children's clothes. The finished products go to good causes. If you are looking for something worthwhile to do and have some sewing skills, drop by and check us out. If you have questions, contact Valerie Gardner.
