Devotional: 'Becoming a Beloved Community'

'Becoming a Beloved Community' is a thought-provoking study to see firsthand how Jesus’ words to “feed the hungry” and “clothe the naked” still change lives today. We discover how needs are met when selfless love breaks down racial barriers, gives voice to the voiceless and feeds hungry hearts, souls and bodies. Read more on groups available for the study, or just follow along on your own. Contact Rebecca for a copy of the booklet.

Theology on Tap: The Cross and the Lynching Tree

Starting again on Wednesday, March 4th, Theology on Tap is back after Ash Wednesday with an all-new study of James H. Cone's The Cross and the Lynching Tree, a classic work of African-American liberation theology. This will be a great time to join the group. Please contact the church office at fpcc@fpcconcord.org if you would like the church to purchase a book for you at a discounted rate of $10 per book.
