 9:30 am Sunday Worship Service
11:00 am Sunday School for all Ages

We are a "confessing church" within the Presbyterian Church (USA). What this means is that we are emphasizing three important themes from our spiritual heritage.

First, Jesus Christ is Lord of all and the way to salvation

  • We hope more than anything that you discover a personal relationship with Jesus.

  • Worship is central to our life as a believing community.  Children are always welcome, because we believe worshiping children are more likely to become worshiping adults.  If this is a bit of a stretch for you and your family, we offer the option of worship geared especially to early-elementary children They are dismissed midway through the 9:30 service and continue in room 201 with our children's staff.
  • Music is a big part of our worship.  If you would like to participate, call Jim Cismowski (ext. 20) to get acquainted (see music).

Second, the Bible is God's Word, which leads us to Jesus and teaches us the essentials about faith and life.

  • Our pastors preach from the Bible, which to us is living and relevant to everyday life.

  • We have classes and other programs for all ages (see children, youth, adult).

Third, God changes lives, and he promises to help us lead a new life that pleases him.

  • We hold out a safety net of care and concern when our members suffer.  We keep the nets of relationships and fellowship mended and strong for the times when there is an illness, death in the family, or other difficulties to endure.  We have Stephen Ministry, Deacons, and fellowship groups to keep up on what is happening in people's lives.  We want to be there for each other and for you.

  • We reach out to our community through many different avenues: through ministry to Spanish-speaking people who meet on our campus, through our Mission Department and its local and global activities, through a joint effort with Mt.  Diablo Schools to sponsor the Senior Activity Center on our campus, through a Christian Recovery Ministry, and through our licensed Christian Preschool (see preschool).
