Rev. Bill Azbell - Senior Pastor

Rev. Bill Azbell joined FPCC as our new Senior Pastor effective May 3, 2010.  He comes to us from Zionsville  Presbyterian Church in Zionsville, Indiana, where he has served as their Associate Pastor for Missions. He has also served churches in Colorado, New Jersey, Florida, and Cairo, Egypt. Bill was born and raised in Bradenton, Florida. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from Florida State University, Tallahassee, with a minor in Russian. He received his Master of Divinity degree from Princeton Theological Seminary and was ordained as a Presbyterian Minister of Word and Sacrament on September 24, 2000. God has gifted Bill with a deep inner joy and a contagious sense of humor. Bill is supported in ministry by his lovely wife Sharon, who is also an ordained Presbyterian pastor, and their two children.

Jim Cismowski - Minister of Music & Worship

Jim Cismowski earned a Bachelor of Music degree from the University of the Pacific¹s Conservatory of Music and a Masters in Church Music from Western Seminary in Portland, Oregon.  He has served in five churches since entering full-time ministry in 1979.  His passion is helping others to worship the Lord with understanding and enthusiasm, especially through dynamic song.  Jim and his wife, Liane, have two adult children.

Rae Ann Beck - Director of Youth Ministries

Rae Ann joined us as Director of Youth Ministries in January 2010. She has been working, alongside her husband, Bill, with the Youth Department for several years. Her love for the young people and her winning smile have been an important factors in the growth of EDGE and ROCK. Rae Ann says the great things about working with youth include sharing God's word with them, helping them understand Christian theologies, praying with them and for them, creating fun things to do at lock-ins and retreats, and getting to know the youth at our church.

Robin Stearns - Director of Children's Ministries

Robin became our new Director of Children's Ministries in July 2010.  Robin graduated from Saint Mary's College in 2003 with a degree in Liberal and Civic Studies and a minor in Montessori Thought, a certificate in Early Childhood Education, and has worked as a Montessori preschool teacher for several years. Her ten years of work experience at three preschools, along with her volunteer work in ministry to children for eleven years, reflects her passion to work with children. Robin has also served as an elder and Clerk of Session for three years.
