Our
Goals
To
help children grow in the love and knowledge of God through
developmentally appropriate activities that benefit the whole child
in a nurturing Christian atmosphere through Creative Arts,
Cooperative Play, Circle Time, Language Arts, Reading Readiness,
Science Discoveries, Cooking Activities, Math Manipulatives,
Nutritious Snacks and a Dedicated and Qualified Staff.
Curriculum
A
Christian emphasis in each day's program is important and
necessary. All the children in our care are made aware of God's
love and concern in all areas of our life. Our curriculum is
developed to help children learn to live together, to share, to
cooperate and to grow in confidence and trust in the love of Jesus Christ.
Our
program strives to maintain a good balance between child-initiated
play activities and teacher-directed learning activities. It is
our goal to stimulate each child's independent thinking and to give
each child many opportunities for experimentation and problem
solving. The teachers guide the children in ways that build
good self-esteem and encourage optimum learning.

and Departure Procedure
School
begins at 9:30 a.m. Children should not arrive more than five
minutes before this time. The teachers are in the classrooms
early to prepare for the school day. School is over at 12:00
p.m. Parents should be prompt at picking up children.
A
responsible adult must accompany all children to their
classroom. This adult may not leave until he/she has signed the
child in with his/her full legal signature on the sign-in sheet
posted by the door. A child may not leave the classroom or school
premises until he/she has been released by the teacher to a
responsible adult and signed out by that adult. All children must be
signed in and out each day. No child will be released to anyone
other than parents unless the Teacher and Director have been notified
in writing as to the name of the person and applicable date.
Picture identification will be checked.
Child
Assessments
During
the year your child's teachers will continually evaluate your child
as to their developmental progress in the areas of social and
emotional growth, cognitive skills, physical abilities, and language
development. Your child's teacher will be available to
conference with you regarding your child's developmental progress at
yours or the teacher's request. |
