At FPCC, our
Children's Ministry exists to let children know God's love. We want
to prepare them to discover and develop a personal relationship with
Jesus. We want to nurture their spirit, equip them to exalt
God, and experience the joy of service.

Worship
Hour - Children of all ages are welcome in worship!
If your child (up through preschool) becomes uncomfortable or needs a
change of scenery, our nursery is a cheerful option! The
nursery is across the breezeway from the office entrance and is
equipped with closed-circuit TV, so you can continue to follow the
worship service, or you can receive a pager from the nursery
attendants, allowing you to return to the Sanctuary with peace of
mind. Preschool Aged and Kindergarten children (3-5) and First
through third graders who are not ready to attend worship with their
parents have the opportunity of gathering in a setting that will
prepare them for the "Big Church." In Children’s
Church we learn to worship and praise God with age appropriate
activities such as puppetry, drama and story telling, so that the
essential elements of Christian worship become more meaningful.
Children will start the worship hour at 9:30am with their parents in
the Sanctuary, and then those who wish will be escorted by a
Children's Ministry team member downstairs to our classrooms.

Sunday
School – 11am hour Children from 36 months
through 5th grade will meet in their downstairs classrooms.
Youth (ROCK and EDGE) will meet upstairs in Room 205 (see
Youth). Childcare will be available during this time in the
nursery for infants and toddlers (up to 36 months).

to WATCH (Wednesdays At the Church) - We are so excited
about this program and hope that your children will learn a lot about
their relationships with peers, adults and most of all their
relationship with Jesus Christ. WATCH was designed with our
children's ministry philosophy in mind: At FPCC, our Children's
Ministry exists to let children know God's love. We want to
prepare them to discover and develop a personal relationship with
Jesus. We want to nurture their spirit, equip them to exalt
God, and experience the joy of service. We are excited to offer
your family this amazing opportunity and we hope that you will come

WATCH Wednesday Schedule
4:30-4:45 children's snack
4:45-5:30 choir
5:30-5:45 games
5:45-6:30 lesson/craft
6:30-7:00 potluck dinner
Parent's group meets from 5:00pm-6:30 and then joins
the potluck dinner at 6:30-7:00 (nursery care available).
Every Wednesday we start with snacks at 4:30pm in the
Fireside Room and at 4:45 move on to the Choir room (2nd-8th grades)
and the Yellow Room (pre-k 1st). Please help us maximize
our time with your children by being here on time and ready to
sing. At 5:30 we have a variety of games for exercise that will
be held downstairs in the Orange Room. At 5:45 we move to the
Blue Room for a lesson and crafts, and at 6:30 we go upstairs to the
Fellowship Hall for dinner where parents join us for Potluck
Dinner. Dinner- time is a great time for us to re-energize and
talk freely in fellowship while practicing our table manners.
The WATCH schedule is flexible for those families on
the go. You are welcome to stay for the whole time or for just
the first or second portions. Just remember to sign in and out in the
appropriate time slots. There is a sign in sheet for the two
age brackets pre-k 1st grade, and 2nd-8th. For grades
6th-8th grade we only offer choir, but they may join us for dinner. |
