What the first thing that comes into you mind when someone mentions “theology?” Do you think of something stuffy, boring and impractical? Do you feel compelled to say, “Well, I’m certainly not a theologian!” Yet “theology” is simply the study of God and what he’s revealed, and therefore, should be the ultimate goal of every person. Jesus said that eternal life itself is knowing “the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom [he] has sent.” (John 17:3) Properly understood, there is no more practical endeavor than the study of theology. This class is appropriate for anyone, from brand new Christian, to a seasoned disciple, who wants to get a better handle on what it is that we, as Christians, know about God. This is a 60-week course, but don’t let that scare you off—it will be broken up into bite-sized chunks. Come, and join us for an exciting journey!
