Sunday
Morning Bible Study
Our Sunday Morning
schedule includes one hour of Christian Education classes for all
ages starting at 11:00 am. Without others helping us grow in our
spiritual walk, we would become stagnant. That is why Adult
Education is so important. Regular Sunday morning Bible Study
groups and other book study group meet regularly for in-depth
exploration of the books of the Bible and other books for
exploration of life in Faith.
Small
Groups
We believe
participation in a Christian small group in which Bible study,
sharing and prayer occur, is essential for the development of
effective disciples of Jesus Christ. Several small groups meet
regularly in member houses or at the Church for extended in-depth
study and fellowship. Contact the Church Office for information.
Presbyterian
Women of the Congregation
Forgiven and freed
by God in Jesus Christ, we commit ourselves:
to
nurture our faith through prayer and Bible study
to support the
mission of the Church worldwide
to work for
justice and peace, and
to build an
inclusive, caring community of women that strengthens the
Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) and witnesses to the promise of God's Kingdom
Presbyterian Women
Circles meet each month for fellowship and Bible study.
Mariners
Mariner ships are
formed by groups of adults with similar interests for fellowship and
support. The Mariner organization is a national organization
within the Presbyterian Church U.S.A. Each group has its own
character and special appeal. Several ships meet monthly for
lunch and special speakers. Our Parents of Young Children
Fellow-Ship meets bi-weekly for bible study, fellowship, support and
fun outings. Contact Fran Zimmerly for more information
about individual groups.
Mission
Workshop
We are a small
group that meets every Thursday thought the school year. We
make quilts, lap robes, baby blankets and clothes, and children's
clothes. The finished products go to good causes. If you
are looking for something worthwhile to do and have some sewing
skills, drop by and check us out. If you have questions, call Blondina
Porter (689-0343). |
